Jessi Rexroad

Originally from Tampa, Florida, Jessi Rexroad grew up training with The Brandon Ballet Company and performed with them for eleven seasons while also taking classes in Jazz, Pas de Deux, and Pointe. In the spring of 2013, she graduated from Elon University with a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography, having focused primarily on musical theatre dance throughout her four years. While at Elon Jessi was given the opportunity to develop a thesis project on the dance vernacular of choreographer Agnes de Mille. Through this pedagogical research she was able to develop a codified method of teaching de Mille’s legendary style and present her findings in a live lecture-demonstration at an undergraduate research forum.
